Kowalik's glove headed for the hall? Nov. 24-09
It was the lightning quick reflexes of Ronnie "the new K" Kowalik that protected the win for Colonel Kohn's troops last night at the McCormick Ice Palace.
"Just another day at the office" commented Kowalik when asked about his amazing late game saves.
Kowalik stopped at least three sure markers to protect Kohner's Kommandos lead. His lightning quick reflexes rivaled the Great Eddy "The K" Kirshner's performances in the hey/hey day with the TNH League.
"That was a Tuesday Night Hockey Hall of Fame performance" said scribe Bobby Shmotz*after the game. "That glove should be in the hall."
Kowalik did not seem to be in any rush to give up the glove.
"Its not the glove, its the man who wears it" offered the sage like Kowalik. "And besides, do you know how much this thing costs?"

*Shmotz is apparently going underground after rumours that the Lee Brothers aren't too happy about certain "lies" being spread about them.
